Mechanical system inspection -

brakes, lights & steering

Every 2 Years - replace brake fluid

Every 3 Years -coolant flush & drive motor oil replacement

Be careful...

Battery tenders & monitors are NOT necessary.  With 2.2,  the VCU is updated to optimize low voltage battery management.

The ICC reset switch can cause the ICC to fail.

5% of key pairings cause the PKC to fail.

Winter Charging

In winter, typically the vehicle will charge between 60 & 100 kilowatts.  After 30 minutes, it will drop down to 35 KW.

Warm Weather Charging

When charging at an EV station in the summer, you should see the car reach a max kilowatt reading of 150 KW +or- 20. Typically it ramps up up to 150, and then drops to 35 after 23 minutes.

Mileage After 2.2 Update

Prior to 2.2, vehicle range was hypothetical, based upon calculated capacities @ 55 mph.

After 2.2 , the cluster shows range based upon an algorithm which is based on the vehicle's  last 5 drive cycles. Remember heat & A/C affect mileage.

Dashboard Warning Lights

Orange warning lights are functioning to advise the driver that systems are diminished from an obscured camera lens or from static road noises.

Red warning lights indicate a vehicle fault.

Both warnings are important safety features.
